600k Bad Beat Jackpot pays out at Carbon Poker

carbonpoker 600k Bad Beat Jackpot pays out at Carbon PokerThe Carbon Poker Bad Beat Jackpot paid out again last night when a seemingly unbeatable Straight Flush lost to a Royal Flush. As a result over $600,000 was shared among the nine players at the table with the owner of the Straight Flush (baseball127) being awarded $211,758.31 to help him get over his bad beat.

WhiteCSix not only took down the $128.78 pot with his Royal Flush but was also given $105,879.15 for his part in the hand while the remaining seven players were each awarded $15,125.59 as part of the Bad Beat Winner bonus.

Despite paying poker for several years baseball127 had never won this much cash at the table before: “I really can’t believe that this happened to me! I guess God had me bet there at just the right moment. I love CarbonPoker and the Bad Beat Jackpot! No one else compares to your game play functionality, quality of players and timely payouts.”

A spokesman for Carbon Poker commented that “It is a poker player’s dream – and CarbonPoker is happy to accommodate. Imagine playing at a reasonably low-stakes table, with a pot of $128, and then finding over $200,000 in your account … it’s a fun way of giving back to players.”

Since the Bad Beat Jackpot was launched in 2008, it has gone on to become one of Carbon Poker’s most popular features. It means that any player holding at least quad sevens who then goes on to lose the hand, will trigger the jackpot, while the other players at the table who had started the hand will also share in the cash give away.

Over $2.3m has been given away to lucky losers as part of this promotion so far, with a world record $1.2m payout being triggered earlier this year.

The Bad Beat Jackpot has now been reset and is starting to grow again. You can register with the site and watch the bonus grow in real time by visiting www.carbonpoker.com.
