$25k Heads-Up Tournament due to start on Full Tilt

Full Tilt (quite rightly!) has the reputation of being one of the best online poker rooms in the world … but when they get their team of professionals out and run tournaments like this, there isn’t another poker room that can touch them. Nowhere else will let you the opportunity to play against so many of the world’s best players for such a big pile of cash.

You can expect most of the Full Tilt Poker pros to be competing for the title which means that you could quite easily find yourself pitting your wits against the likes of Phil Ivey, Huck Seed or last year’s winner Chris “Jesus” Ferguson.

The action will start on Saturday May 23rd at 20.00 GMT (15.00 ET) and will continue until only four players are left. These last four will then battle it out on Sunday for the right to be crowned Heads-Up World Champion.

If you want to get involved in the tournament and have a cool $25k knocking around, then you can buy in directly. For those of us who don’t have that sort of cash spare, there are qualifiers starting this Sunday (May 17th) meaning that you can win your place in the tournament for just a few dollars.

The tournament will be limited to 128 players and will feature byes in the first round should play get underway without a perfect number of players being involved (eg. 64 or 128). If this is the case, those players given byes to the second round will be decided totally at random.
