Prizes worth over €100,000 will be put up for grabs as players of all abilities will have the opportunity to represent Paddy Poker on some of the biggest poker stages in the world. “Everyone dreams of jetting around the world, playing in the biggest tournaments against the biggest players and we’re really excited to be able to make this dream a reality for one lucky player”, a Paddy Poker spokesman said last night.

It’s a sentiment that is shared by the Editor in Chief of poker magazine Bluff Europe, who will be helping Paddy Power in their search. “There is nothing better in the world of poker than to be one of its stars” Michael Caselli pointed out. “This promotion will transform an ordinary player into an extra-ordinary poker pro, which is really thrilling!”

To be in with a chance of becoming the poker professional that Paddy Power are looking for, you need to be holding the rank of General in the Paddy Power VIP programe on 1st October 2009. Once you achieve this, you’ll earn a seat in a special tournament which will determine the eight players who will play in a Live Grand Final to be neld at the Citywest Hotel on October Bank Holiday weekend.

The first prize at this tournament will be worth €60,000 (approx $85,000) and the chance to play in some of Europe’s largest poker tournaments over the next twelve months. Those who don’t end up getting their hands on this prize will be eligible for a number of other prizes worth €40,000 in total.
