PKR double the size of their monthly freerolls

pkr-logo PKR double the size of their monthly freerollsPKR are doubling the number of players that can qualify for their monthly $5k Freerolls.

It was always the case that only the 500 of the month’s most succesful players would be invited to take part in the freerolls – that will now change though, with 1,000 seats now up for grabs each month.

In order to get one of these seats, players need to ensure that they are one of the top 1,000 ranked players on either of the SnG or MTT Leaderboards which are compiled over the course of the month. Final placings are confirmed on the first day of every month with the top players on the SnG Leaderboard being offerered a seat in the SnG Freeroll which takes place at 19.30GMT on the second Wednesday of every month.

Those finishing in the top thousand spots in the MTT Leaderboard will be invited to the MTT freeroll which gets underway at 19.30GMT on the second Tuesday of every month.

Both of these freerolls are variable stack tournamnets which means that the higher you finish in your respective leaderboard, the more chips you’ll start the freeroll with. The player occupying first spot on each leaderboard will be given 15,000 chips in the freeroll … whereas those finishing in 751st-1000th position will each start the freeroll with 400 chips.
